Creating collections in Islandora 7.x-2.x is a lot like adding any type of node in Drupal.

1. Select Add content from the admin menu or the Navigation block.

   

2. Select Collection from the list of content types.

   

3. Fill in the fields in the associated metadata form.

   

4. Select Save to create a new collection.

   

5. Your new collection displayed in Drupal.
